10th Anniversary Edition: the whirlwind of our first ten years

Ten years of looks, one limited anniversary edition

From 2016 to 2026, La Petite Lunette Rouge spent a decade turning artists’ visions into objects to wear. To mark the occasion, the brand presents the 10th Anniversary Edition, a limited-edition sunglasses collection. Its statement model, NET SEYAR, follows the LPLR naming tradition: it is an anagram of TEN YEARS. It features a round rim, the brand’s signature red bridge and eight Pantone shades fanned out around the frame. An Op Art effect gives the frame its character: a spiral starts on the blue swirl lens and continues onto the metal, creating a kinetic illusion. Wearing it means stepping into the LPLR universe.

French craftsmanship from Oyonnax, from colour to hinge

The 10th Anniversary Edition glasses are made by French artisans in Oyonnax. The frame is crafted from surgical steel with acetate temple tips. The metal is hand-brushed before being gold-plated. Each of the eight colours is then applied by hand with a syringe, and the underside of the hinge is painted in LPLR’s own Pantone red. The brand’s exclusive double hinge now includes a miniaturised Flex mechanism: a thin stainless-steel blade adds a spring effect on both axes of rotation. Opening and closing the temples feels smoother, and the frame is more comfortable and more durable. An anniversary piece for lovers of designer eyewear.
